Academic Master of Technology Economics and Management

    The major of Technology Economics and Management was established in 2006 on the basis of the first-level discipline of Business Administration. The origin of this major can be traced back to the economic cooperation major established by the university in 1988, through economic cooperation and real estate business management to the current business administration, management science (project management direction), management engineering (real estate business direction) and other related majors. Directly supporting the development of this major are the Northern Anhui Development Institute, the Institute of Enterprise Growth, the Institute of Modern Business, the Institute of Cotton Engineering, etc. The major has formed two relatively stable research directions with obvious advantages, namely, technology innovation and management and real estate market management and economic operation evaluation.

    There are 4 professors, 3 associate professors, 6 doctors and 7 master's supervisors in the department. The department has received support from more than 30 provincial and ministerial level projects including National Natural Science Foundation, Social Science Foundation and Postdoctoral Foundation, published 5 monographs and 106 influential academic papers. A more complete team of experts with deep academic strength has been formed. In recent years, the research funding of this major has reached more than 1 million, and the topics include many subjects from the Asia-Pacific Cooperation Fund, National Planning Office, Ministry of Education, etc. The graduate students have won many scholarships during their study, actively participated in various academic conferences and presented their research results at the conference, and published many academic papers in core journals such as  Journal of Management World  ,  China Soft Science   and  Science Research Management  . The graduate students mainly work in government departments, high-tech zone management committees, listed companies, investment companies and commercial banks, etc.
