The College of Business Administration was established in July 2010, which was formed by the adjustment of the former College of Management and College of Business of Anhui University of Finance and Economics. The history of the former School of Management can be traced back to the Department of Cooperative Economics of Anhui University of Finance and Trade, which was established in 1988 and later renamed as Department of Business Administration and Department of Business Administration, and in January 2005, the School of Management was established on the basis of the former Department of Business Administration. The predecessor of the former College of Business was the Department of Trade and Economics, which was established in May 1959; in 2000, the Department of Trade and Economics was divided into the Department of Marketing and the Department of International Economics and Trade; in January 2005, the College of Business was established on the basis of the Department of Marketing.

    The College has seven departments, namely, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Tourism Management, Logistics Management, E-Commerce and Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and offers six undergraduate majors in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Tourism Management, Logistics Management and E-Commerce, among which, the Business Administration major is qualified to offer second bachelor's degree. The college has five master's degree programs in business management, technology economics and management, tourism management, marketing, logistics management and e-commerce, and two professional degree programs in MBA and MTA, among which business management is a provincial B key discipline. There is a college laboratory center, which is in charge of 2 key laboratories at the university level (interdisciplinary laboratory of economic management and ERP laboratory), of which ERP laboratory is also a provincial laboratory (former simulation laboratory). The college also has 2 university-level research institutes, the Consumer Behavior Research Center and the Micro foundations of Entrepreneurship Research Center. In addition, the college also has a B-level special academic zone for innovation and entrepreneurship and business growth, and a C-level special academic zone for branding and consumer behavior, as well as two university-level major research teams.

    Committee of College of Business Administration, Anhui University of Finance and Economics, Communist Party of China focuses on promoting the development of various undertakings through CPC building. It adheres to the general requirements of CPC building in the new era, insists on CPC management and comprehensive strict governance of the CPC, comprehensively implements Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, focuses on improving organizational strength, is guided by the socialist theory system with Chinese characteristics, conscientiously implements the CPC's education policy, effectively strengthens the construction of the leadership team and the CPC members, and gives full play to the role of the CPC organization as a fighting base and the CPC members as pioneers. By setting up the first workstation for CPC members in student dormitories throughout the university and launching the CPC building wisdom platform - AUFE Management Pioneer, CPC building and ideological education are introduced into dormitories and networks; the dual-track operation of CPC building and ideological work on and offline is carried out to enhance the cohesion, creativity and combat power of CPC organizations. It carries out the dual-track operation of online and offline CPC building and thinking and political work, and enhances the cohesion, creativity and combat power of the CPC organization. The first CPC branch of the faculty was selected as the first batch of national CPC building work model branch cultivation creation unit, and the CPC committee of the college and four CPC branches have been awarded the honorary title of advanced grass-roots CPC organization by the CPC committee of the university.

    The College focuses on promoting teaching through scientific research. In recent years, our teachers have completed 4 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 10 projects of National Social Science Foundation of China, more than 60 projects of Humanities and Social Science Research Planning Project of Ministry of Education, Anhui Provincial Philosophy and Social Science Planning Office, and key projects of Natural Science Foundation of Anhui Provincial Education Department. It has published more than 1,000 academic papers in core journals such as Journal of Management World, Economic Perspectives, Journal of Management Science, Management Review and Business and Management journal and more than 30 monographs. While emphasizing on scientific research, the college has also continuously increased its teaching reform and achieved remarkable results, with a number of teaching research achievements winning provincial awards for excellent teaching achievements. Four majors of business management, marketing, human resource management and e-commerce have been approved as national first-class professional construction points, six people have been evaluated as provincial teaching masters and new teaching talents, Management has been identified as a national first-class course, Strategic Management of Enterprises,  Marketing,  Human Resource Management, Consumer Behavior  and  Introduction to E-commerce have been identified as provincial high-quality courses.

    The college has strengthened the construction of faculty, and the scale of faculty has been expanded and the structure of faculty has been optimized. There are 108 faculty members in the College of Business Administration. There are 92 full-time teachers, 19 are professors, 51 are associate professors, 51 have doctoral degrees, 15 are studying for doctoral degrees, 2 are doctoral supervisors, 31 are master's supervisors, and 17 are flexible introduced doctors. There are 1 academic and technical leader of Anhui Province, 2 reserve candidates of academic and technical leader of Anhui Province, and 4 training candidates of young and middle-aged discipline leaders of Anhui University.
