In response to the evolving demands for New Liberal Arts talent and to comprehensively advance the transformation and upgrading of talent cultivation in our institute’s Marketing program towards digitalization and intelligence, further promoting the discipline and curriculum development of the Marketing major, Professors Wang Li and Feng Linyan from the Department of Marketing participated in the Wuhan session of the Google Digital Talent Training Program from May 25 to May 26, 2025.

The Google Digital Talent Training Program, initiated by Google in collaboration with Chinese University MOOC, is designed based on actual business needs and global market trends in overseas expansion. Covering both theoretical knowledge and practical case studies, the program includes three major modules: an introduction to the overseas digital marketing ecosystem, Google’s digital marketing system, and strategies for overseas digital marketing. The program aims to cultivate talent for the digital industry, focusing on enhancing four key competencies in overseas marketing professionals: a systematic understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, data-driven marketing analytical thinking, insights into the overseas ecosystem, and contextualized product application skills. The goal is to develop practically skilled overseas digital marketing professionals with strong career competitiveness.

Through this training, the faculty team systematically acquired the latest theoretical knowledge and technical tools in the field of digital marketing. This participation also represents a significant step in deepening industry-academia collaboration and aligning with the demands of the digital economy. Furthermore, during exchanges with Google, the team successfully secured more opportunities and channels for students to interact directly with enterprises, paving the way for broader development in regional digital marketing talent cultivation and collaborative innovation between universities and businesses.
