Recently, Hao Xiling professor published significant research findings in the internationally top-tier management journal Journal of Management Studies (a Financial Times 50 journal). The paper, titled Institutional Logics and the Post-Financing Relationship Between Investors and Entrepreneurs, has now been published online.

The study focuses on the critical issue of how investors and entrepreneurs can effectively maintain their cooperative relationship after financing, particularly addressing the common phenomenon of cooperation failure in venture capital. Through an empirical analysis of 2,052 investment transactions in China's high-tech industry from 2000 to 2018, the research team found that similar institutional logics between investors and entrepreneurs facilitate aligned motivations and shared cognition, thereby effectively sustaining their partnership. By introducing the perspective of institutional logics, this research fills a gap in traditional studies that overlook the influence of social norms on post-investment relationships. It provides a new theoretical framework for investors and entrepreneurs, offering important insights for improving investment success rates and promoting the high-quality growth of entrepreneurial firms.

The publication of this research highlights the academic strength of the School of Business Administration at Anhui University of Finance and Economics in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. It also lays a solid foundation for the school to further serve local economic development and cultivate high-level management talents.
