To gain a deeper understanding of the study and living conditions of students staying on campus during the summer vacation to prepare for the postgraduate entrance exams, and to further improve student services and support, the College of Business Administration held a symposium for these students in Conference Room 201, Boya Building, on the afternoon of August 12th.

During the meeting, student representatives provided a detailed report on the progress of their summer exam preparation, covering aspects such as review schedules, knowledge gaps, campus facilities and support, as well as the confusion and difficulties they encountered. They also expressed gratitude for the deep care and thoughtful services provided by the university and The College.

The teachers present listened attentively and patiently, addressing each student’s concerns and questions with detailed guidance. Drawing on recent postgraduate exam data, the teachers analyzed the current exam landscape, emphasizing the importance of strengthening foundational subjects such as Mathematics and English. They advised students to scientifically assess their own situations, make rational choices regarding target institutions, and avoid blindly following trends. Additionally, students were encouraged to fully utilize available resources, including seeking help from dedicated teachers and alumni to broaden their channels for reviewing specialized courses. Efficient time management, identifying key review areas, optimizing preparation strategies, and creating solid study plans were also highlighted.

In his concluding remarks, Huang Tieliu fully affirmed the hard work and dedication of the students and put forward three hopes: first, to plan scientifically and allocate time reasonably, balancing work and rest; second, to stay confident and maintain a positive attitude, assuring that The College will provide full logistical support; third, to strengthen communication and promptly report any difficulties to counselors or The College.

After the meeting, The College presented carefully prepared care packages to the students staying on campus for exam preparation.
